I have the rideau lakes title search "coons rd" if anyone wants it.  Just send me a post and I will send it your way.  I am scared off and not bidding but maybe someone knows more than me.

Dear Mountainman

Every board needs a bard

No worries that  clues are hard,

No hate coming from this end here

I had a similar question so I am not sure.   I think that it is not the same guy but it might take a lawyer to clear the title.  However the golf course is no longer operational and the reviews featured some pretty harsh comments on it being particularly buggy.  Not sure what the resident poet is referring to. ....fascinating!

Thanks for the info, sounds like a decent price on #1.
2 + acres, road access, close to Bon Echo, lots of positives.  i just couldn't get it together.  Too much on the plate.

Did anyone go today to the Addington sale?  If so, could you post the results?

Hey mountainman,
I love the poetry but would also like to know why who are so content with results.   I  think it is tremendously beautiful down Sherwood Forest Lane but someone more experienced than I thought the price to be close to market.

I checked on the property and also spoke to someone at the sale.   The river is spectacular but it would seem that 80,000 is pretty much market value.  The forest is protected and so not much could be done (except enjoying it), the lot by the river would be expensive to get a road up and in.   Apparently there are lots for sale just down the road for 100,000 already with entrance already in place.  80,000 was over my budget.

General / clarification on terms
« on: May 10, 2016, 01:01:35 AM »
Does anyone have any experience with this on a title search
??
There is a certificate of pending litigation. You
would need to seek legal advice to determine
the effect this would have on the title.

General / Re: upcoming tax sales Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan

Thanks Dave, I enjoy the board discussions and was just trying to liven things up a bit.  Hass Rd. is connected to the  "Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan" sale.

I took a peek at the Hass Rd. property.  Lots of trees but did not look at the actually building (respecting no trespassing sign).  I wonder what the heck this place is/was.  Why wouldn't it be redeemed?  How much does a red pine forest sell for  anyway?  It just did not seem desirable unless you are a logger.  Probably  more to the story.

How about old trees that get blown around during random ice storms and contribute to the ecosystem?  That's as esoteric as I can get!
