how do you find out details ? do you call the municipality about a tax sale or do you hve to write them and then drive to see the property sorry if its a stupid question but im new to this site ive just done some research and it sounds like it would be chance to by a property at a good price

The municipality is a good source of info. but you'll probably find that you'll need to do a lot of digging on your own, you'll probably need to get in touch with multiple branches of the municipality and maybe a local real estate agent if your not sure on the properties value, as well as other sources unique to the property in question.

- Start by looking at maps on the internet.
- Move to calling or emailing the person in charge of the tax sale.
- Drive to the property in question and look at it for yourself.
- Talk to a few people who live in the area you are interested in
- Do a title search on the property
- Talk to a real estate agent in the area about property values
