TAKE NOTICE that tenders are invited for the purchase of the land(s)
described below and will be received until 3:00 p.m. local time on the 1st
day of December, 2011, at the Township Offices, 56 Ontario Street, Box
533, BURK'S FALLS, Ontario, P0A 1C0.
The tenders will then be opened in public on the same day at 3:30 p.m. at
the Township Offices.
Description of Lands:

1. All Lot 18, Concession 11, Save and Except Parts 1, 2, 3 & 4, 42R-
17295; S/T Easement over Parts 5 & 6, 42R-17295 as in LT180691;
ARMOUR. Being all of PIN 52145-0065 (LT). Roll # 49 19 000 003
04210.
Minimum Tender Amount: $8,690.29  

2. All Lot 19, Concession 11, Save and Except Parts 1 & 2, 42R-
3443; Part 10, 42R-10832; S/T Easement as set out in LT180691;
ARMOUR. Being all of PIN 52145-0066 (LT). Roll # 49 19 000 003
04200.
Minimum Tender Amount: $9,641.37  

3. Part Lot 5, Concession 6, Armour, being Part 1, 42R-5201; S/T Debts
in RO136073; ARMOUR. Being all of PIN 52143-0331 (LT). Roll #
49 19 000 002 01220.
Minimum Tender Amount: $6,246.47  

Tenders must be submitted in the prescribed form and must be accompanied
by a deposit in the form of a money order or of a bank draft or cheque
certified by a bank or trust corporation payable to the municipality and
representing at least 20 per cent of the tender amount.
Except as follows, the municipality makes no representation regarding
the title to or any other matters relating to the land to be sold.
Responsibility for ascertaining these matters rests with the potential
purchasers.
This sale is governed by the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, and
the Municipal Tax Sales Rules, as amended, made under that Act. The
successful purchaser will be required to pay the amount tendered plus
accumulated taxes and the relevant land transfer tax.
The municipality has no obligation to provide vacant possession to the
successful purchaser.
Note: H.S.T. may be payable by successful purchaser.
