Take Notice that tenders are invited for the purchase of the land(s)
described below and will be received until 3:00 pm local time on October
29, 2004 at McMurrich/Monteith Township, 31 William Street, P.O.
Box 70, Sprucedale, ON P0A 1Y0. The tenders will then be opened in
public on the same day at 3:00pm at McMurrich/Monteith Township
Office, 31 William Street, Sprucedale, Ontario.

Description of Land: Land Titles Parcel No. 2124 S.S, Concession 7,
Lot 33, Township of McMurrich, Now the Township of McMurrich/
Monteith, District of Parry Sound, (24 acres, no maintained road access)
Minimum Tender Amount: $1,334.19

Description of Land: Concession 10, East Part Lot 4, Instrument No.
91337, Township of Monteith, Now the Township of McMurrich/
Monteith, District of Parry Sound, (50 acres, no maintained road access)
Minimum Tender Amount: $1,315.22

Tenders must be submitted in the prescribed form and must be accompanied
by a deposit in the form of a money order or of a bank draft or
cheque certified by a bank or trust corporation payable to the municipality
and representing at least 20 per cent of the tender amount. Tenders
must be in sealed envelopes clearly marked as Tender for (description
of property), Tax Sale, and addressed to Treasurer.

Except as follows, the municipality makes no representation regarding
the title to or any other matters relating to the land to be sold. Responsibility
for ascertaining these matters rests with the potential purchasers.
The sale is governed by the Municipal Act, 2001 and the Municipal Tax
Sales Rules made under that Act. The successful purchaser will be required
to pay the amount tendered, plus the relevant land transfer tax,
deed registration fee, plus G.S.T.
The municipality has no obligation to provide vacant possession to the
successful purchaser.
