The Town of Hardisty may, after the public auction, become the owner of any parcel
of land not sold at the public auction.
Terms: Any property selling for less than $5,000.00 will be considered a "cash" sale and
all funds are due and payable via bank draft, certified cheque, VISA, MasterCard, Debit
Card, or cash the day of purchase. Property at 5023-49 St., has an extended term of
condition, the existing dwelling that is NOT habitable be destroyed and removed from the
property and any additional refuse within 60 days of purchase.
All properties selling above $5,000.00 will require a deposit of 15% down by way of cash,
certified cheque, bank draft, VISA, MasterCard, Debit Card or cash immediately
proceeding the purchase that day. In addition, a letter of credit must accompany the 15%
down from a financial institution for the difference indicating that the buyer has been
approved for the difference. Balance of sale proceeds to be netted in 30 days. Any refuse
on these properties will need to be removed within 60 days of completed purchase at the
new owners expense.
